Every January since 2004, the Rotary Club of Griffin has collaborated with the American Red Cross to sponsor a blood drive. On January 8, 2015, Griffin Rotarians once again rolled up their sleeves to give the gift of life. It is impossible to quantify this contribution!
Angela Clayton, Account Manager for the American Red Cross in the Griffin area, told Rotarians that over the years, the Griffin Rotary Club's annual blood drive has resulted in over 400 units reaching 1,197 patients. The Red Cross collected 46 pints with 48 attempts at this year’s drive. Philip Smith and the staff at Memorial Drive Vet Clinic coordinated our annual drive again this year.
