Reading to Third Graders

The Rotary Club of Griffin is involved with all students in the Griffin Spalding County School System throughout their academic career. Our involvement begins in the third grade, when Rotarians read books to every third grade class in the school system in the Spring.

Rotarians and Interact students visit every third grade classroom in the county and read from a new book each year. We then leave the book with the teacher to either continue reading to the class or to be available for the students to read. We place a sticker in each book including the club's name and the Four Way Test.
